24 hours – Chase and Status for Umbro
About a week after I photographed David Haye I was on a 6 am flight to Spain with the assignment of photographing Chase and Status in front of 50,000 fans wearing the new England away kit.
I would have about 2 minutes to capture the shot at the end of the bands set. CnS were going on stage around 1am. I spent the day and night thinking about how this was going to happen.
In the end it just had to happen, and it did. CnS put on a incredible live set and the fans were going wild.
At around 3 I was on the stage with the band snapping shots in front of the thousands. The show ended and I handed my card to Paul my assistant. He said now that was a little stress full. We downloaded the shots, stayed up and edited for the next couple hours.
Instead of going to sleep we jumped in the car and drove two hours to Barcelona just to make our plane back to London.
No sleep but I did get the shot. Click the picture to see a great short film from the night. I can be seen at the 2:15 mark taking the picture.
Special thanks to the creative force which is Anomaly for creating and coordinating this shoot.
