I have started a blog for my upcoming book Instrument. The book will be published by Chronicle in spring 2011.
Below is where the idea of Instrument was formed.

Last weekend I photographed a load of Jerry Dammer’s keyboards for my upcoming photo book called Instrument. It was Guy Fawkes fireworks/ halloween weekend. This keyboard summed that up. Special thanks to Ben Norton for assistance and taking some shots as well. And Jerry of course for letting us do this.!

Tonight I photographed Nels Cline and Jeff Tweedy guitars for Instrument.
Special thanks to Eric and Jason, for setting it up.

I had the privilege of photographing Alex Kapranos and Nick McCarthy’s guitars and such on Saturday at the Brixton Academy. The shots will be featured in my next book of photography.

I will be posting more Cribs photos here as i edit and shoot.
